With flagship smartphones costing up to $ 1000, it can be very costly to buy a new device in this time and age. Especially if you’re in need of a new device, you may be putting off the thought since the new smartphones cost a lot of money. Thankfully, there are still a number of mid-range Android smartphones that you can opt for. One of your options is the Huawei Honor 7X, which is now available in the United States.
Compared with the high-end flagship smartphones, the Honor 7X is a pretty decent device. It comes with a 5.93-inch FHD display. From within, the Honor 7X is powered by a Kirin 659 processor with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage, and a 3,340 mAh battery. Camera-wise, the phone has a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-camera. Upon release, the device runs Android Nougat with EMUI 5.1 on top of it. The phone also includes a headphone jack, dual-SIM capability (in certain markets), and a fingerprint scanner.
For quite some time now, the Honor 7X was only available in China. But with today’s announcement, the device can now be purchased around the world. In the U.S., the company has started to accept pre-orders for the device for $ 200. The last date for pre-orders is on December 14th.
If you pre-order the Honor 7X, you just might be the lucky person to get the phone for free. According to their announcement, orders number 7, 77, and 177 will receive a refund of the device. Every 77th order per hundred made during the pre-order period will also be entitled to receive a refund. Huawei is also hosting a raffle for the device, a Nintendo Switch, or a 17 percent off coupon for a 7X.
