Earlier today, Verizon Wireless announced a new smartphone model it will be including in its lineup. The device, known as the Samsung Galaxy J3, will be available on both Verizon’s postpaid and prepaid service.
The smartphone comes with a 5-inch HD 720p display. From within, the device runs on a 1.35GHz Exynos 7884 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in memory. There is a microSD card slot for up to 400GB memory expansion.
The phone also includes an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing sensor. It houses a 2600mAh battery that can last up to 29 hours of usage and up to 9.5 days on standby. Some other features include full support for Wi-Fi Calling, HD Voice, and Video Calling. Upon release, the phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo.
Although the device is the same, it will be available in two different names on both services. For postpaid customers, the device is called as the Samsung Galaxy J3 V. For Verizon Prepaid customers, on the other hand, the name is changed to Samsung Galaxy J3 3rd Gen.
If you are interested in this smartphone, you can get it with a postpaid line for $ 168 or $ 7 per month. But if you’re more of a prepaid user, the phone is available on Verizon Prepaid for $ 124.
