Mint Mobile, an MVNO operating under T-Mobile’s network, has just made new changes to its service.
First up, the MVNO announced that they have tripled the number of people they have under their customer service department. For the MVNO industry, this is a big move since the other players do not consider this a priority. With Mint Mobile’s decision, it goes to show that they are dedicated to provide excellent service to their customers; as they should be.
The MVNO has also ventured into social media by launching the new support pages called @MintMobileCares on Facebook and Twitter. Through this channel, customers have an easier way of getting answers to their questions. Not to mention, the company has launched a new community moderated forum, https://community.mintmobile.com/.
In addition to today’s news, Mint Mobile has launched a new $ 5 trial starter kit; which can be purchased via Amazon or the Mint Mobile app. The goal of the trial kit is so that prospective customers can test out the service for 7 days before they decide to make a commitment. You can get the trial kit for $ 5, which already includes 100MB of 4G LTE data, 60 minutes of talk, 100 text messages, and two SIM cards.
The reason behind getting a couple of SIM cards under the trial starter kit is so you won’t need to transfer your number over. If you find that you enjoy using Mint Mobile’s service, the secondary SIM card can be used to port your number over with. In doing this, you will get credited for the $ 5 trial starter kit that you paid for. You can then use it with your selected Mint Mobile plan.
Mint Mobile is also running a program called, “Share the Love.” When you purchase a SIM card kit and plan, you also get a secondary SIM card so you can easily share it with your friends. This extra SIM card contains a free 7-day trial that you can share with your friends and family who may be interested in signing up for a plan too.
Mint Mobile has also expanded its money back guarantee to be available across various plan options. Originally, the 7-day money back guarantee was only offered on the 3-month trial plans offered by the MVNO. Now, whenever you purchase a new Mint Mobile plan and you are unhappy with the service, you can cancel it anytime during the period to get your full refund minus shipping and handling fees.
Lastly, the MVNO published its first ever commercial on TV. Check it out here:
