If you’ve recently visited Cricket Wireless’ website to look at their unlimited plans, you may have gotten confused with the ones available. That’s because Cricket Wireless changed the names of their unlimited plans last April 22.

These are the new names of the plans:

Cricket Unlimited Max (Previously Cricket Unlimited)

The Cricket Unlimited plan has been renamed to Cricket Unlimited Max.

Despite the name change, the plan remains the same at $ 60/month. It comes with the same unlimited high-speed data access, unlimited calls, texts, and picture messages across the U.S., and Mexico and Canada calling, texting, and roaming included with minimum 50% U.S. usage required.

You can still save $ 5/month with Auto Pay discount.

    Cricket Unlimited(Previously Cricket Unlimited 2)

Cricket’s Unlimited 2 plan has been renamed to Cricket Unlimited.

This plan costs $ 55/month and includes unlimited data access with data speeds of up to 3Mbps, unlimited calls, texts and picture messages across the U.S., and Mexico and Canada calling, texting, and roaming included with minimum 50% U.S. usage required. Video streaming under this plan is limited to SD quality (480p).

You can still save $ 5/month with Auto Pay discount.

According to the AT&T prepaid brand, this name change was done to make it easier for people to know the main differences between these two plan options. Before the name change, these two plans had almost similar names, Cricket Unlimited and Cricket Unlimited2; which often confused customers. With these new names, it’ll sure give customers more clarity on the prepaid plan option they are picking out.

Except for these new names, these plans are virtually the same. You can get to know more about these offerings by visiting Cricket Wireless’ website.
